Speaking at his Zoe fellowship held at Kyadondo Rugby grounds, Lugogo, On January 2, Prophet Elvis Mobonye , made ‘prophecies’ about the winners of the Oscar Awards 2018.

Since, Ugandans and his followers in particular have eagerly been waiting to see if these prophecies would come true. The wait came to an end on March 4 when the ceremony took place at Los Angelos’s Dolby Theatre.

In his prophecies, the man of God said that American actress Laurie Metcalf would bag the accolade for Best Supporting Actress. Unfortunately for him and his believers, Allison Janney – also an American actress – took the award last night.
Out of the eight prophecies Elvis Mbonye made, only one turned out wrong. He got it right for Best Screenplay, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Animated Feature, Best Design and Best Production Design, Best Actor, Best Sound Editor, Best Song categories.
