Addressing journalists at the Police headquarters in Naguru, Asan Kasingye revealed that a one John Kagimu using telephone number 0782 744915 has been sending him messages threatening his life over a story and pictures in the Sunday Bukedde revealing motorcycles purportedly used in the murder of Afande Kaweesi. Kaweesi was killed two weeks at his home in Kulambiro.

“Why do you put those motorcycles in Bukedde as if they’re the ones that killed omugenzi (read deceased)’’ the message reads in part.
‘‘Now that they are with the Police, I hope they will not say the same thing about you,” the message reads.
