Hon. Odonga Otto has described Koboko Municipality MP and State Minister of Finance for Investment and Privatization Evelyn Anite as ugly. During an interview on Sunday evening where he was being interviewed about his political life, Otto was asked to talk about whether he was still willing to sue Anite, he said;

“I am married to an ex model turn advocate, I have something beautiful to be around with; taking Anite to court will mean that I have to cross paths with her all the time, I do not like passing near ugly things,”
Late last year, Hon Odonga Otto threatened to sue Hon Anite for defamation. Otto accused Hon Anite of calling him a drunkard and claiming he begged money from President Museveni.

Through his own law firm of Odonga Otto and Company Advocates, Otto wanted Anite, to publicly apologize to him and also pay him Shs300 million.
Minister Anite accused Otto of coming to parliament while drunk. She suggested the following day that members of parliament should be subjected to breathalyzer tests at the start of parliament business.
Anite in a televised interview also accused Otto of begging for money from Museveni to support the Age Limit Bill, and that when he failed to get it, he became bitter with her.

Anite’s claims came after Hon Otto moved a motion on the floor of parliament for her to be subjected to the parliamentary disciplinary committee for allegedly endangering the lives of her fellow MPs.

The Aruu legislator says Anite’s comments damaged his reputation at Parliament, amongst the public and his constituents back home.
Otto also gave Anite 7 days to make good of these demands or a suit would be formally filed in courts of law.
