Kanyamunyu murder case: Museveni meets Late Akena’s family, assures them of justice

President Museveni while campaigning for James Nabinson Kidega, the NRM flag bearer for the Member of Parliament seat in the Aruu north by-election, took time on Tuesday to visit the family of the late Kenneth Akena and expressed his condolences over the passing on of their son.
Akena was shot at Forest Mall and later died Novik Hospital after his car bruised another car belonging to Mathew Kanyamunyu

The president thanked Akena’s father Francis Omona, mother Susan Omona and uncles Ojok Ojara and Geoffrey Laptoo for their calmness during the trying time. He assured them of justice adding that the suspects are before court. The family said they were looking forward to a speedy, fair trial.
