Police are investigating circumstances under which Harriet Aber, a prominent farmer in Gulu died.
Ms Aber, a close associate of operation wealth creation coordinator Gen. Salim saleh was found dead at her home Kasubi Sub ward, Layibi-Bardege Division in Gulu City.
“The children alerted their Auntie, a one Isabella and she discovered her lifeless,” Family sources said on Wednesday.
Details of the causes of her death are still scanty. Aswa River Region Police spokesperson, Patrick Jimmy Okema said detectives are probing the mysterious death.
In her 40s, Ms Aber rose to prominence when she invested heavily in farming projects in Nwoya and Amuru.
She appeared before Justice Catherine Bamugemereire’s land probe and cleared the air about her projects
