Bank of Uganda has organized a one day non-residential sensitization workshop for Members of Parliament scheduled for Friday September 16, 2016 at Imperial Royale Hotel, Kampala.
The workshop is aimed at creating and enhancing awareness, better understanding and appreciation of Bank of Uganda’s mandate, roles, responsibilities, policy decisions and actions and its contribution to the macro-economy.
The workshop targets Members of Parliament on the Budget Committee, Committee on National Economy, Committee on Finance, Planning and Economic Development, Public Accounts Committee, Committee on Commissions, State Authorities and State Enterprises. Also invited to attend are Committee Researchers, Clerks, legal officers and budget Officers.
The Rt. Hon. Speaker of Parliament Ms. Rebecca Kadaga will officiate at the opening of the workshop that will also be graced by the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development.
