Uganda Cranes star Abdul Lumala currently playing professional football in Egypt, took to social media to apologize to fans after he kicked an official on technical bench, minutes after he was substituted.
Uganda Cranes winger Abdul Lumala joined Pyramids Football Club in July this year.
‘‘I would like to apologize on behalf of my team mates and technical staff and our fans its not acceptable am very sorry’’ he posted
He added: As I wrote earlier am sorry though people will start to judge but those who know me as a person am not that kind of person who gets that angry what I did was a stupid reaction from me, I accept I didn’t actually kick anyone. And it won’t happen again am a professional player. Sorry’’
Former Cranes’ coach Sebatien Desabre now managing Egyptian side Pyramids replaced Lumala with Islam Issa in the 39th minute when the game between Pyramids and El-Etang El-Harby was still goalless.
A close at the video, Lumala wasn’t pleased with the Coach’s action. He walked off throwing tantrums. When he reached, the technical area, he kicked official who was standing nearby.
the match ended 3:2 in favour of Pyramids.
