Uganda airlines has entered an interline partnership with Emirates airlines. The relationship between the two airlines will allow passengers booked on Uganda airlines continue on to other destinations without having to recheck themselves or their luggage.
The development gives the Ugandan national carrier access to the emirates network, boosting its unique selling proposition by providing more options to Uganda airlines customers.
The arrangement offers the ease of single-ticket travel and one-stop baggage check-in for customers transferring from Entebbe to Dubai and onwards to the Emirates global network
According to Airspace, The national airline will need to have a strong regional network in order to generate the required feed to support its wide body aircraft.
The airline CEO, Mr Cornwell Muleya identified Mogadishu, Juba and Nairobi as particularly strong markets in the current aviation landscape with frequencies on other destinations remaining flexible based on demand

, recently announced it had “successfully obtained” landing slots at London Heathrow and Dubai, adding: “Dates for the start of operations to each destination will be announced soon.”
