A commercial passenger plane belonging to South Supreme airline crashed as it was coming in to land at the airport in Wau, in northern South Sudan.
“The plane was blowing smoke from the tail before it crashed,” Dimo reported. “But when it touched the ground, it immediately burst into a huge flame.” A local radio –Eye Radio reported.
There were at least 30 people on board, according to a local official. The plane was coming from the capital, Juba.
‘ ‘At least 14 people have been rushed to hospital in stable condition,” said State Information Minister Bona Gaudensio told a local newspaper. It was not clear if there were any deaths.
