The UPDF Chief of Military Intelligence has denied statements attributed to him about the link between Kasese clashes and the Power10 (P10).
Power 10 is a political pressure group that was established by the Forum for Democratic Change to enhance political pressure on the ruling government during the election campaigns of 2016.
When contacted to clarify on the statement attributed to him while appearing before the parliamentary committee investigating the Kasese clashes in which dozens have died, the chief spy clarified that the media had quoted him out of context says UPDF spokesman Lt Col Paddy Ankunda
He adds: The CMI boss further clarified that he at no point did he deflect questions to the president as was published in the media. “ How can I refer questions posed to me to the president? I never did that and I would never do it.
