Delta TV on the verge of closure

Speaking at the launch of Delta TV in 2015, Abby Mukiibi, one of the officials behind the station, revealed that they were here to show other television Stations the goldmine they have been missing.
The station was meant to focus on local content and the youth.

Two years later, the station is not only failing to find the Goldmine, but also struggling for her life- read on the verge of collapse.




First it was WBS (Wavah Broadcasting Corporation), And now the jinx seems to be haunting Delta TV -jointly owned by Theatre actor Abbey Mukiibi and Mengo loyalist Gaster Lule Ntake, the proprietor of Ntake Bread.
News reaching us from Muganzirwazza Commercial building, in Katwe, is that some Delta tv employees are yet to get their salaries for February and March 2017.

A couple of employees at the struggling tv station told Newz Post that they have been asked to be patient as management sorts out the cash flow crisis.




Insiders revealed to us that management is preparing to sack close to 100 employees as they seek to cut costs and live for another day.
Is station’s slogan soon changing from #TUKOLE (Let’s work) to #TUGGALEWO? (Let’s close down)
