Czech Republic opens diplomatic mission in Kampala, appoints Stephen Kaboyo Honorary Consul

Czech Republic, one of the major European trading partners with Uganda has opened a consulate in Uganda to cement commercial and diplomatic relations with Kampala.
Mr. Stephen Mpuuga Kaboyo has been appointed honorary consul with consular jurisdiction over the Republic of Uganda.
In the letter dated 4th august 2020, hon. Sam Kutesa, the minister for foreign affairs, congratulated H.E Stephen Kaboyo upon his appointment



‘ ‘Having approved of this appointment according to the commission, we do hereby recognize H.E Stephen Kaboyo and recognize him as such and declare him free to exercise such functions, power and privileges as allowed by the law of land’’ hon Kutesa said.
Uganda exports to Czech Republic was $37.2 million during 2018. On the other hand, Uganda’s imports from Czech Republic were worth $2.66 Million during same year- according to the United Nations comtrade database on international trade
