Bobi Wine has decided to host the Kyarenga Album Concert at his One Love Beach in Busabala.
This is after he was blocked twice to host the show at Mandela National stadium also known as Namboole stadium.
The musician turned politician had planned to have the concert at Namboole on October 20 but the stadium management declined his offer for a wedding.
The show was then pushed to 9th November 2018 with tough conditions, which Bobi Wine adhered too. However, the stadium management later cancelled the deal after the FUFA raised concerns.
Addressing the press on Monday, Bobi Wine that Busabala beach was ready to host the concert and that preparations were already under to ensure that everything goes as planned for the November 10 event.
“Since the government decided to play us, we decided to bring the concert home. We are already rehearsing, the security is tight and it is going to be massive,” he said.
The three-minute and 28 seconds song has been trending in most clubs, radios, discotheques and streets of Kampala. “Kyarenga” is a Runyankore word that is used contextually to mean “too much”. Bobi Wine sings that “Ekyana kyarenga” literally meaning the babe is too hot, and beautiful.
