Kyadondo East Member of parliament Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has launched a campaign that seeks to make the Kyadondo East a model constituency in Uganda. The plan is to focus on a particular issue for every three months to improve the conditions of the people.

‘ ‘On top of raising pertinent issues before Parliament and putting pressure on government to address them, I have decided that I will also hold a charity show every three months where the proceeds will be used to address those particular issues in our constituency and in other places.’’ Bobi Wine said on Thursday as he handed over health items to the community.
He added: The first three months, our focus has been on healthcare. I have been doing regular inspections of all health-centers in the constituency so as to improve the conditions of the patients and health-workers.

He revealed that he and his team they will continue to have monthly general cleanings in each of the nine Parishes of the constituency to improve sanitation.
‘ ‘Today we have given out delivery beds for all public health-centers in the constituency so that our mothers do not have to give birth on the cement. We have also given out other essential items for hospitals like surgical gloves, cotton wool, screen walls (curtain walls) etc.’’ he said.

He also visited Katalemwa rehabilitation home for children with special needs and we delivered for them an early Christmas.
Bobi Wine explained that the money he used to buy the items came from the charity show he held at One-Love Beach, Busabala on 10th October.

He thanked wife Barbie Kyagulanyi ‘Mama Kyadondo’ for moving tirelessly around the constituency to identify our peoples’ needs and putting everything together to address them.
Bobi Wine explained that in the next three months (January to March) he will l focus on education and we shall hold a charity concert proceeds of which we shall use to buy desks and other scholastic materials for our schools.

‘‘When you’re called upon, please turn up in large numbers. In that order, we shall for the subsequent quarters focus on agriculture, skilling our young people for employment, roads/ infrastructure, SACCOs for low income earners, environmental protection, etc.’’ he said.
