Museveni in Nairobi for the Marine Conference

President Museveni on Monday left for Nairobi Kenya to attend the global conference on “Sustainable Blue Economy”.
The conference, which is being convened by Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta, is pulling global leaders to discuss ways of harnesses the potential of oceans, seas, lakes and rivers to improve the lives of all, particularly people in developing states, women, youth and Indigenous peoples.



Attendants will also explore the latest innovations, scientific advances and best practices to build prosperity while conserving waters for future generations.
The Sustainable Blue Economy Conference is the first global conference on the sustainable blue economy. At least 134 countries and Over 4,000 participants from around the world are coming together to learn how to build a blue economy that:
