Emillian Kayima replaces Asan Kasingye as Police spokesperson

Less than a year on the job, AIGP Asan Kasingye is no longer the police spokesperson. Emillian Kayima has been named the Force’s new spokesperson. Kayima has been deputy spokesperson and spokesperson Kampala Metropolitan Police.

“…I will be taking leave of spokesman function to concentrate on commissariat work,” Kasingye twitted on Tuesday.
Kasingye replaced Andrew Felix Kaweesi who was gunned down in near his home in March this year.
Before he was appointed Police Spokesman, Kasingye was serving as the Director of International Police and Peace Support (Interpol)
